I would like to get my carpets cleaned.
Last year when I did it, the cleaners charged me about $220.
I can go out and buy a good carpet cleaner for $180 (after my discount).
Is it worth having the professionals come out and do it for $250+ every year? Or should I just go out and buy my own machine and do it myself?

Go out and get your own. Since you like to do it yearly it would be great for that. They are also great for small problems through the year. I do think every few years or more, you should get them done by a proffessional. Just my two cents. Oh we have had one for years and love it.
I agree! We own our own too and I've used it enough times to more than pay for it. It's a great investment. =)
